FREEZE!

Despite the past few "hard" days, I've been thinking about how I wish I could freeze time, just for a little while. I am enjoying the independece, curiosity, and excitement of a 3-year-old, while loving the constant babbling, the innocence, and the unconditional love of an 8 month old! And to make things better, they love each other (for now)! Jackson is sure to tell Bowen about his day at school and make sure he took a good nap, while Bowen always takes a look around the room to find his older brother. Nothing provides better entertainment for him than Jackson! For my own journaling interests, I would like to focus on our sweet boys for awhile and try to "freeze" this time in their lives in my memory.

JACKSON

Jackson is such a sweet boy; not one to really throw tantrums or create too much mischief! He is all boy with great training from his dad! He LOVES all sports and considers quiet time at night prime time to watch any sports channel with his dad. He wants to go to a Cowboys football game, a gift that Justin promised him after he gets baptized. In the meantime, though, he'll settle for the BYU home football games where he gets to see his favorite mascot, Cosmo.
Jackson is really into painting right now; his favorite mediums being pumkins, cards to give his friends or mail to grandparents, and of course, his face! He is learning so much at school, mostly I've noticed he's learning to be independent. He is learning to write his name and is doing great with learning his phonics. He always says "J stands for me!" Jacksie's favorite food is noodles and turkey and cheese sandwiches. He loves the Primary song "I Love to See the Temple." The other day in Target, he was walking down the aisle singing it! What a great way to bear your testimony! He is so full of imagination; hence the picture of him sledding during the summer! Fun things Jackson says: "crazy-b-daisy, starvin-b-marvin, super-duper, I love you to the moon and back, that's my favorite."

BOWEN!

What else can you do but smile when you see our little "Bo Bo's" smile! He is such a joy! He's got such a mellow temperment with excitement for everything mixed in. Bowen is always babbling! He is already telling us big stories. He loves to be outside, especially when there are kids to watch. His favorite food is Cheerios (you can see the big smile on his face while eating them), but he will settle for pretty much all baby food, except peas. Bowen is taking his time with crawling; he thinks it is much funner to just wait for someone to rescue him after he's been left on his belly for too long! Of course, someone always does! Bowen loves to interact with Jackson, and with Jackson and Justin around, I'm sure he'll be a great addition to their sports addiction.

WE LOVE YOU BOTH!
