Fall is Here.

I have really been trying to enjoy the recent change of season. Fall is a lot like Spring (one of my favorite seasons), except everything is dying to prepare for the dreaded winter! However, as I was looking through my pictures, I realized we have been doing a lot of fun things this Fall. So in an effort to change my attitude, I'd like to share some of activities we have been doing.

Playing outside for extended periods of time is a lot easier when the temperatures are a little cooler. The "four-wheeler" definitely gets used a lot more by Jackson in the Fall. I love this picture because Jackson was worried Bowen was going to fall out, so he drove around with his arm around Bowen's shoulders!

Family pumkpin-carving parties are definitely one of my favorite things about this season. We had my family over for a "spooky" dinner and pumpkin carving. Jackson, Justin and Spencer also dressed up in their Halloween costumes. Bowen can't resist sharing his great smile and a "cheese!" everytime the camera comes out.

Justin posing with his beloved tree. Our neighbor and I made fun of him when he bought this tree because it looked so sad. Now, it's definitely a great addition to our yard. Our neighbor thinks he should send this picture out for our Christmas card.

One word--Cornbelly's! One of our favorite Halloween destinations.

Mr. Ballard's Pumpkin Patch in Draper is our favorite place to get our pumpkins for the season. This year, we purchased 9 pumpkins for $14! How can you beat that? This year, Cade and Ellie joined us in our outing. And Jackson posed like a baseball player all night.
Which leads me to our next pictures...

Fall T-ball and swimming lessons! Justin and Uncle Brad were the coaches of Jackson and Cade's T-ball team. Jackson had such a great time playing--he seems to have his daddy's athletic talent. We always had other parents telling us what a great swing he has. Sometimes, T-ball turned into Football as everyone fought to get the ball, but all-in-all, we enjoyed a successful T-ball season.
Jackson also has extended his swimming lessons into the Fall. He has really enjoyed his teacher, Valerie. He has progressed to a level 3 and definitely has increased his confidence in the water.
So, I guess this Fall has been great so far. Happy Fall!
