What a FUN Halloween "season" this has been! We participated in so many Fall/Halloween festivities, and to top it off, it was Bowen's first taste of spooky Halloween! It is always fun to have a first-timer. We've started a tradition these past two years of starting off Halloween night by attending our ward's Trunk-or-Treat! It's a fun way to see all of our ward friends and neighbors and get tons of candy in about 30 minutes. After filling Jackson's Halloween bag here, we head to Grandma and Grandpa Mauss's neighborhood for some good old- fashioned, knock on the door, trick-or-treating! There's nothing cuter than seeing Jackson and Annie knocking on the door by themselves, saying "trick-or-treat!", and then wishing the person a "Happy Halloween!" when they've received their candy. This year, Jackson was a SPIDER (who "jumps on people"), Bowen was a ShArK, and I was a Witch! Justin was sick with a sinus infection, so there was no energy there for dressing up. All in all, we had a great Halloween season!

Jill your witch costume is awesome! Love the tights! I am laughing so hard at Jackson's comment about saving you if a spider jumps on you by kicking it in the nuts! Boys, boys (that is to include Justin also!)! Too funny! I am glad your little boy is there to protect you. Darling pictures of your spider & shark kids. Hope Justin is feeling better.
That was a spooky Halloween...and Justin in his pj's takes the cake! That post should have been names "spiders, sharks, witches, and giant blue babies...oh my!" You guys are cute and the pictures show a family with great traditions!

Everyone keeps commenting on Justin but I didn't see a picture of him. I did see a picture of a big, blue, weird baby, though.

Your boys looked SO DARN CUTE in their Halloween costumes. It looks like you guys had an awesome holiday. I loved your slideshow...especially the pic of Justy in his jammies! Too cute! :)
What fun pictures! Your kids looked adorable and that witch costume is awesome...not quite sure what to think about Justin's one piecer.:) All in all though, looks like you had a happy halloween! We sure miss you guys!
