Conversation with Grandma...

Jackson and Bowen were able to spend a week with Grandma and Grandpa Bailey while Justin and I went on a little vacation (more to follow). My mom made the comment to me, when I went to pick them up, that kids are hard but they make it all worthwhile with the funny things they say. When I asked her for an example, she told me the following conversation she had with Jackson...

Jackson: (pointing to Grandma Bailey's neck) Grandma, is that your chest?

Grandma: (pointing to her chest) No, that is your neck. This is your chest.

Jackson: Oh yeah! That's kind of like at church when people bear their chestimonies!

Hi Jill-
This isn't really in response to your post, but in response to the comment you left on my blog. . .does that make any sense? Anyway, there's another book by Phillipa Gregory called The Constant Princess, which is about Kathryn of Aaragon (Henry VIII's first wife--the one Anne helped to get rid of). Everyone I've talked to liked that book better than The Other Boleyn Girl. Just thought I'd pass that along.

By the way. . .very cute conversation.

Between "chestimonies" and "fohawks" we may just have the cutest kids on the planet. Can Jackson and Bowen come to our house and play? We need some good wrestling matches.
