Jackson turned 4 on May 26! He has been waiting for this day since most of his friends started turning 4 at the beginning of the year. I am starting to see that birthdays are just as exciting as Christmas! He had a lot of festivities for his birthday this year: his school celebrated his birthday with gifts and singing (above picture); we had a family party; and a friend party!
Jackson is such a blessing in our family. He not only has us laughing, but the neighbors are also always commenting on how great he is. Usually the description is a funny story or just "he's such a character!" Here are some fun facts for us to remember about Jackson when he turned 4:
Favorite Color: goes between blue and green
Favorite sport: baseball or golf (he is extremely talented at both of these sports which is probably why they are his favorite)
Favorite food: Dino Nuggets and Chicken Noodle salad
Jackson can count to 25--then he jumps to 30 and goes to 35.
Favorite Movie: Tarzan and The Sandlot
Favorite Friends to play with: Jesiah, Mickelle, Nick and Abby, and Annie
Favorite Singer: Josh Groban and Taylor Swift (Jackson asks for me to put Josh Groban on in the car and then sings. He also loves "Our Song" by Taylor Swift.
Jackson loves the Jazz and BYU; he especially loves the Bear and Cosmo.
Jackson gives such great prayers and is always reminding us to have Family Home Evening
Jackson is one of the sweetest "big brothers" I have ever seen.
We Love You, Jacksie!

So fun!! I wish we could have made it to the party:) Oh - you forgot to put that he is "popular" on his list of things:) That's the most important! ha ha!
Love Jackson's swing at the pinata. Did it break? He's a talented boy. I would love to hear him sing Josh Groban.

Looks like so much fun! I'm sad that we had to miss the party! Briggs wants to play with "his little buddy" so whenever you have a free afternoon, give us a call. By the way, I'm looking into golf lessons for Briggs this summer... would Jackson want to take them with him? Let me know.
Looks like it was a fun party. What a cute kid. Great job on that cake, Jill.
I didn't know you guys had a pirate party too! It's unfurtunte that I didn't live in Utah to let you use all of our pirate stuff. Looks like you did a great job and had a lot of fun. Charlie wishes he could have been there!
