Angel Moroni

As I pulled into our Circle today, something new about the construction of the Draper Temple caught my eye. They were in the process of putting up the Angel Moroni! Jackson loves to look for the Angel Moroni on any temple we see; sometimes we have to pull into the parking lot of the Jordan River Temple just so he can get a good view of the Angel Moroni. I quickly put my groceries away, and Bowen, Jackson and I drove up and watched as they placed this wonderful symbol on top of our almost-finished temple. Jackson said, "We sure are lucky to have an Angel Moroni!"
We really feel blessed to live so close to a temple. We love the questions it brings from our non-member neighbors. With the temple construction finish date nearing, you can see the preparations the Church and the city are making to welcome those who will be visiting the temple. You definitely get a sense of how special this building is, especially for those who know what wonderful things happen inside.

That is so awesome. It seems like we just barely drove by it and now there's Moroni. How cool for you guys to be so close. My parents are already sad to be leaving their temple in a few months. Thanks for meeting us for lunch and for the fun times in Park City.

we don't have a lot of temples in these parts, so last time we drove by one, Hadlee said, "Look, there is a human on top of that temple." Jackson could teach her a thing or two.
