Easter and Spring Break!

This year, Spring Break and Easter were the same weekend.  So, we loaded up the car and headed to St. George to escape Salt Lake's cold version of Spring.  St. George was beautiful! We went swimming, had easter egg hunts, rode scooters, and just relaxed in the sunshine.  Jackson and Bowen are still asking when we are going back.  Okay, I'm asking Justin when we are going back too!

We started off the long trip with Alivia facing forward in her car seat for the first time!  She giggled and giggled for the first little while.  She has her own little movie in front of her that she thinks is so great.

Happiness turned to sadness later on that night when Alivia started with a fever!  Poor girl.  She had a rough first day, and then started to feel better.

One of the best things about Easter....coloring Easter eggs!  And all the more fun in swimsuits!

While Daddy hit golf balls, we passed the time by riding scooters and drinking root beer.  Bowen was in heaven!

Bowen wore his goggles all day after swimming for the first time since last summer!

We met Matt and Bree Strong at the pool for the afternoon.  Jackson spent the entire time in the water.  He loves diving for dive sticks.  Alivia still wasn't feeling great, so she just played by the side of the pool.  And Bowen enjoyed swimming and snack breaks.

The night before Easter, we had an Easter egg hunt at a park in St. George with a group of Justin's friends and their families.  What a great group of kids!  In attendance were: The Strong's, Bryce and Brad Hopkin and families, The Metcalf's, and The Pohlman's.

Alivia and Bowen were checking out their finds.  Alivia was just happy to secure a box of Nerds.

We always have a fun Easter egg hunt on Easter morning.  Daddy does a great job setting this up for the kids.  Alivia enjoyed eating candy while the boys were on the hunt!

Our cuties on Easter morning!  The Easter bunny is alwasy so good to us.

On our way out of St. George, we stopped to hike around some red rocks, and soak up just a little bit more sun.

Thanks for the fun time, St. George.  See you in October!!

Glad you had a great Easter. The pictures are fun! You're awful close to the water in the last picture...be careful with Spring runoff. (Just a little Grandmotherly advice!!)
