We are so excited for this holiday season! The very first thing we do each year (even before Thanksgiving) is we put up our Christmas tree. I have to say that Christmas trees are one of my favorite things about Christmas. We always seem to gather around it the whole month of December and just hang out with each other as a family. Jackson and Bowen are the entertainment, of course! Or sometimes at night, when the kids are in bed and Justin is in his cave, I read a book just from the light the Christmas tree gives off. Pretty cheesy, but I love it!
Our other holiday favorite are the outside Christmas lights that Justin puts up each year. This year he put them up on a nice sunny day so there wouldn't be any chance of slipping and falling off the roof like last year!! Jackson was a good helper--anytime Justin needed something while he was on the roof, Jackson would try throwing it to him. Thanks to our Justy Boy for risking his life to set our house all aglow!

Looks Great! Even better that you didn't fall off the roof, but that was a funny story!! A tree is my favorite thing too - I guess the popular people like the tree!!
Cute tree, and the lights outside look great. We still don't have lights up outside. Tim is afraid of heights and it doesn't help that the last two Saturdays have been snowy. Plus I don't blame him for not wanting to get up there with the snow and ice.
Nice job on the lights guys! Jill I'm waiting for a Disneyland post. In the meantime, you and Justin should come down and go to the Vegas bowl with us!

Oh...I am so jealous of your lights! Josh didn't have time to put ours up this year, so I guess I'll just have to enjoy yours while we are in town. Cute tree, by the way!
Nice work on the lights, Justy Boy. Jill, your tree looks so pretty. I may need a few pointers in that department :)
I still get a chuckle when I think about the roof incident last year.
I miss having a Christmas tree. Our place is too small to fit a tree, maybe next year. Yours looks great and don't worry, it is okay to be cheesy at Christmas time!! Isn't that what it is all about?
