Bowen: Soccer Player and Superman

We have had a great time watching Bowen play indoor soccer every Saturday morning for the past 6 weeks.  At first, we were dragging him out the door to go.  Once he would get there, though, he liked it.  Finally, the past couple of weeks, he has loved it!  He always tell us how many goals he is going to make.  Last time, it was 243 goals!  The funnest part of the whole experience has been that Walker and Luke are on his team, and Megan is his coach!

He had such a cute shy/proud smile after he scored a goal!  It's so fun to see these little 4 year olds feel excited and proud of themselves.  That's one thing I love about watching my boys play sports.

Bowen loves being goalie.  He is good at watching the ball and knowing when he can pick it up.  Then he launches it back into his team.  At first, he also was quick to volunteer to sit out!  But now he likes to be in on the action.  Jackson and Daddy were good fans.  And of course, so was Alivia!

Alivia is such a trooper.  She gets carted around to all of her big brothers' activities.  But these soccer games have been the funnest because she gets to play with Hayes!  They love to play together, which usually means crawling around and eating treats!  Who wouldn't like to do that?

We're proud of our Bo-Bo for doing his best at his first season of soccer!  But this guy is not just a soccer player.  He's a super hero too.  After his soccer game a few weeks ago, he came home and decided he wanted to wear his Superman costume.  He spent the whole day in it.  I saw him out jumping on the neighbor's tramp and riding his scooter with his cape just flying behind him.  Then when I checked on him again, this is what he was doing:

I guess every super hero needs a drink break (on a sled...on top of a stack of tile), right?
